Two versions of Family Compass

The old and the new version run side by side and store their data separately. Go through both and compare.

New

Version 2.0

5 steps. Each of you chooses separately, you look at the overlaps together, confirm 3–5 family values and try one practice for 14 days.

  • Each chooses separately, then you compare
  • 3–5 values that both of you confirmed
  • One practice for 14 days with a review date
  • 20–40 minutes
Current

Version 1.0

8 chapters, 80 values, a 15-question conversation, a family mission built from six fields, and a Family Compass Map.

  • Done together on one screen
  • 7–10 values
  • Mission assembled from open fields
  • 45–90 minutes

What changed

Two voices instead of one

Before, the couple answered together and the louder voice quietly won. Now each person chooses on their own, and only then do you look together.

Nothing becomes shared by itself

One person's choice does not turn into a family value until the other explicitly confirms it.

A shorter required path

Family stories, the 15 questions and the six-field mission are no longer part of the required path. They stay available as extra material.

One practice instead of a list of intentions

From the actions you already wrote down you choose one, give it a rhythm and a date, and come back to see whether it worked.

The right not to agree

An open question can be saved separately — or not saved at all. Agreement is not a condition of finishing.

Both versions run side by side and are stored separately — what you do here does not touch the old one.
